We have been working hard on fractions and fraction number lines.
The students must get the multiplication facts memorized by the end of May.
The third graders did a wonderful job leading the Mass! Such great readers and singers!
The topic has been the economy. We discussed the “good” kind of interest and the “not so good” kind! The students learned about goods, services, consumers, and producers. Have a chat with your child about whether your job provides goods or services.
A four part realistic fiction story fit perfectly with our science activities this week! A group of students had to design a machine to solve a problem for the science fair. Our students designed a Rube Goldberg machine. This is basically a “machine” that creates a chain reaction to make something move.
We have been working on defining character traits from familiar stories to help us begin writing literary essays.
