Ms. Nancy’s class: We are starting a wonderful adventure into the world of the alphabet. We will be working on three letters per week, our goal is recognition. Our nursery rhyme is Mary Had a Little Lamb, our new word for the month is Hibernation. You can help at drop-off in the morning by helping your child find their first and last name and putting it on the flannel board!
Mrs. Voiles’ class: This week, we started our ABCs with the letter A. Our classroom mascot puppet, was an alligator that we named Amelia A. We knew that alligator, astronaut, apple, ant, and aunt started with “A”. We also made an alligator out of the letter A. We continue to talk about colors (in English and Spanish) and our shapes, too. Next week we are going on to the letter B!
