5 recently graduated 8th grade students accompanied Mr. Simms to Shipshewana in northern Indiana to visit the community of Amish people who live there. While touring the area, the students had the opportunity to explore an Amish home and farm, see the horse auction, visit the Menno-Hof Museum of Amish & Mennonite culture, and sample popcorn grown in the local farm fields!
