There will be a spelling list for next week. Make sure that your child studies each night in order to be prepared for the Practice Test and Test on Friday.
Families will have to work with their child to help them memorize the multiplication facts. This is a CRITICAL skill.
The students have been working on telling time to the minute and the quarter hour. We worked on how to tell time by saying “quarter after 4” or quarter to 7.”
The students have been reading Greek mythology stories. We are enjoying the crazy antics of these gods and goddesses.
If you have any empty toilet paper rolls, please send one in. We will be doing an art project with them next week.
This week’s focus has been on resources. The lessons have covered natural resources, capital resources, and human resources.
The 3rd graders learned the Marks of the Church. They made a poster to show that the Church is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic. We also learned that Jesus made Peter, the Rock, the leader of the Church.
Our meteorologists have been learning about the water cycle. We made our own water cycle by heating water that evaporated, hit the pan filled with ice so it condensed, then fell as precipitation.
