Week of September 14 - 18th
Thank you for checking out this page! We will be posting the weekly assignments and any "news" that might be happening.
This week we will be finishing up the testing for NWEA. The students completed the reading on Thursday and due to some technical issues, could not finish math on Friday. We will be completing that Monday and taking the Language test on Tuesday. If your child does not receive breakfast at school, please make sure they eat before hand in order to be ready to take the test!
We will begin "Zooming" religion on Wednesday, September 16th at 1:00 pm. Please make sure you have the link which will be sent out Tuesday afternoon. The zooms will be approximately 1/2 hour to 40 minutes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays (we have Mass on Thursdays).
I have had a lot of questions about homework. If a student is struggling with getting assignments done in class they may have homework to finish. Also, starting the week of Sept. 21st I will be sending home spelling lists to study during the week. Pre-tests will be on Monday and final tests on Friday. I am also asking that each student read at least 20 minutes a night. I am a believer that kids need time to play outside and be kids. If you have any questions, about this, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you again for entrusting your children to me this year! I look forward to working with all of you.
Sincerely,
Lynnette Coggins
